Gas tank sender.
Ok I am having my gas tank repaired and now I need to know what 12v sender I need to get for it? I converted to 12v so I need the 12v sender. Also what pickup do I need?
Thanks

12volt sender

Post by wvcharlie »

I got a 12 volt sending unit from NAPA. It's a Stewart Warner part number 701-1570. It bolts right in. You have to cut the arm to the proper length but just follow the instructions. It works perfect with a 12 volt gauge I got from a company called Diesel Equipment Company out of Charlotte NC.( phone 336-373-8331) Part number 100176. It looks pretty much like a military gauge.
