Anybody any ideas on how I canrun my vacuum wipers when I dont have the mechanical fuel pump fitted to my truck?
Is there part of the manifold I can connect the vacuum hose to?
Or do I have to switch to electric motors?
Any help and advice welcome !!

Re: Vacuum Wipers
You can draw directly off the intake manifold, having the vacuum booster fuel pump doesn't make much difference anyway. Having a really good condition wiper motor is the key.M37UK wrote:Anybody any ideas on how I canrun my vacuum wipers when I dont have the mechanical fuel pump fitted to my truck?

There are three 1/4" NPT plugs that can be screwed out of the manifold, front, center, & rear. The front or rear end of the assembly can be accessed easily, just remove 1 plug & replace with the correct fitting to accept the rubber vacuum hose. Route the hose to the wiper motors following the same route as original.M37UK wrote:Where on the manifold specifically Charles? and whats the best way to do it?
