Another wiper related ?

Will be installing my electric wipers within the next day or two. Am wondering, can I run one hot wire and splice the two motors together, or do I need to run two separate hot wires from the power source?

As long as you use a heavy enough wire to handle the load, one will do.

We used 12 gauge single wire to the left and daisy loop a wire to the right. We found that the left runs a little quicker than the right given the load drop. We used a push/pull on/off switch on the i/p to provide power. Many times Zach only turns the driver's on so it wasn't a big deal. I guess doing it over, I'd pull 2 load wires.

Somebody here told me to use 14 gauge, and that's what I bought. I don't plan to install any switches, will just use the switch on the back of each motor, and will probably just use one motor at a time.

What's a daisy loop?

What is the amperage load of a wiper with resistance put on the arm.
eg snow/ ice/ a hand etc.
14 ga. should be OK though.

If you're asking me what the amperage is, my answer is I haven't a clue.....
