Wiper swing (arc) and arm/blade length

Post by W_A_Watson_II »

Well, if I intend to enjoy the M this winter, I need to get wipers installed.

What, arc (100 deg?), and what arm and blade length is the stock?

I intend on installing electric (12v) wipers if I can find a decent set. any suggestions?

Thanks,
Will

The perfect length is 12" blades with heavy duty adjustable arms. These will require good quality electric motors to power them. Mounting the motor in the correct location is key to the best swing arc. Done correctly, they will wipe virtually the whole glass area.

We offer a high quality 2 speed system, controlled from a single switch with an auto blade park feature which enables the arms to stop at the same preset position each time the switch is turned off.
