WTB M-37 rear diff, and wiring info

Post by cessna »

Good morning,
We currently have my good friend's (running!)1951 M-37 at our shop here in Hanover, PA 17331. We took apart the rear diff and found the pinion to be completely stripped. My buddy is looking around to see if anyone has a useable rear diff for sale before we look at the VPW rebuild kit. Any leads are much appreciated.

Also, what manual/where could we find the wiring schematic for this?
I appreciate any leads, we are looking to get this back on the road until his 55 Power Wagon is completed, then it can take it's turn for a resto in the shop.
Thanks for your time,
Brian

I have 2 or 3 good take-out 5.83's. I don't need to keep them all, and so would part with at least one. Additionally I pass fairly close to Hanover when travelling from Northern West Virginia to visit family near Lancaster.

If you're interested I'd have to figure out how to put a price on a good 5.83, wide open to suggestions.

Thanks,

Thanks for that! I was looking all over for the wiring diagram that was printable. Everything you find on google is way to small to see the labels.

I've got 3 good complete axle assemblies 2 front and 1 rear 5.89, probably take $150 each, your pic. I'm just south of you in Maryland right at the line below York.
