


After this procedure,I cut the center hole to proper size (including the interferance fit for the seal)


I then created a relief cut for the shoulder of the seal

I then machined the outside diameter to mimick the original seal (including the interference fit)

After this process was done,I flipped the adapter over in the chuck and removed the extra material it didn't need

and some more to bring it to the proper thickness...

Here is the end result without the seal completely installed




After a few thoughts,I added two 1/4-20 threaded blind holes in case I ever have to actually remove the adapter with a puller

I still have to do a better counter sink on the holes. What do you all think? I cant wait to make some spotlight mounts!
