Military Collectors TV Series

Post by MSeriesRebuild »

Coming in the 2nd quarter of 2016 on AHC, American Hero's Channel, (formerly the Military Channel, DISH 195). It will be a series of 13 half hour shows. We were contacted by the host, Bob Redfern about filming an episode here at M Series Rebuild; which took place last Tuesday, Nov. 24. It will be the 6th show in the series. We discussed a M38 Jeep project that Bob left with us for some transmission and transfer case repairs, a cab and frame we have in process at the body shop, a M20 armored car that is in reassembly mode, a M35A2 truck that is in for several upgrades, and a '56 Dodge Power Wagon that we have just completed that has been underway here since 2010, however we have not had a full time schedule on it since then. If you are interested in tuning in, I'm sure it will be advertised on AHC prior to airing. I'll post info here as we learn more. You can also check out a small bit of the filming on our Facebook page.

I imagine so, but that is something I would need to verify.

It has not aired yet, Bob who does the show is scheduled to be here on June 20 to film a segment on the M20 that we will be sending out very soon. I hope to get some updated info about air times then. I'll post any updates. He did say several months back that some issues with programming on AHC had come up and could result in some changes, however I really have no further detail concerning the matter at this time.

Updated information:
Bob and Jerry were here yesterday filming a segment of the M20 and its owner taking his first drive in the newly restored machine. They did a really informative interview with the owner. Latest information concerning airing is as follows; they have 9 shows ready at this time. Airing is set to begin in September, 2016 on AHC. The sponsor as I understand it will be Government Planet,(the folks who handle the military equipment on line auctions). Still to be filmed later this year are episodes in Utah, (I don't know details of this one), and one in Florida this fall, a reenactment of the D Day invasion if I have details correct, a lot of info thrown out in a very short time. I'll offer more updates here as we receive information.

I don't have any detail on what will be taking place in Utah, the camera guy only mentioned they would be going soon.
