Re: Smiling M

Great photo, reminds me of the M37 cartoons in the manuals.

Re: What Does A Brush Truck Actually Do??

Bob, Also check out Roscommon Equipment Center. They specialize in coming up with conversions of military vehicles to wildfire attack trucks (brush trucks). http://www.roscommonequipmentcenter.com/ Look at this one in particular. http://www.roscommonequipmentcenter.com/Project%2034_Tanker%20Handbook...

Re: Plate for engine stand

I had a similar problem getting the links to line up on my Engine stand I just purchased two strips of steel and used the bellhousing to drill holes in the plates and then holes where the links on my engine stand would line up.

Re: Installed NOS Cargo Box Canvas Yesterday

Beechwood Canvas used to have canvas key fobs so you could have a whiff of canvas all the time.

Looks good. Welcome aboard.

Is that plumbing for an heater running down the top of the engine to the firewall?

Re: Battery Group Size Question

My truck had the radio modification to change to 6TL batteries. My generator keeps them topped up.

Inside rear view mirror

I was talking with John Bizal at Midwest Military and he said there was a MWO to install rear view mirrors in the Dodge M37's.

Has anyone have a copy of the MWO or photo of one installed?

Re: Data Plate found on frame-back driver's side

I tried checking Tm9-500 and Wikipedia. It looks like it was a crane mounted on the truck. Martin only had 3 missile contracts in the 1960's. It may be related to the Lacrosse system.

Re: The Future for M-37 Parts.

You are probably talking about George Maneri. I bought a NOS rear axle from him in the 90's

You may be thinking of Dave Amwell in Flower Mound, TX.

In the 90's everyone had M37 parts.

What happened to Adorondack Dodge? The website is still up but no idea if they still sell parts.

Re: good doors needed.$ or swap

I believe you are in Central PA. If you want to add some money to your door fund, I need a few bolts from the door to replace some of mine. I also need the weldnuts around the access panel

Gravley,

Where are you located? If your current doors have rust you can cut out the rot and weld in patches

I went to White Owl once in the 90's. That was another vendor that used to have M37 parts. Are they still around?

Given the usual rain at Aberdeen a covered location would be nice
