Re: Electric Fuel Pump location?
I have my 24v Facet pump on the back of the cross member just in front of the tank. The steel line is cut and a piece of fuel injection hose is clamped onto it there. There isn't any filter from the tank to the pump, and there is no filter in the tank. I need to put an inline or spin on filter befor...

Re: leaving your truck outside
I had to cut the 2x6" trim board off the top of my garage door jamb. Then I ripped a 4x4' post to garage door thickness and bolted it to the top of my door panel. I'm running stock sized tires and I think it was a seven foot door

Re: amsoil? ever tried it?
i run it in my every day drivers and in my 2stroke dirt bikes and chainsaws. It is a premium oil, and worth it. I have not run it in the M37, but I am thinking of using it in the transmission and transfer case. I have 80 or 90 wt oil in there now and I'd like easier shifting. You can buy direct from...

Re: Cab canvas top removal questions.
I go from a full vinyl top with a rear window and no zipper, to a bikini top twice a year. It takes about 10 minutes to remove a top, and about 20 to put one on. Those times are probably a bit long actually. I never remove the framework though

Re: The M37's "Superior Brakes"
Given that, I give them plenty of room ahead because there's always some moron that slams on their disk brakes, 10 feet in front of me to make a turn. One of these days they will have an LU-4 sticking into their rear window. :) Jerry Here in Michigan, that would be sufficient evidence for you to ge...

Re: Original Fuel Filter - What is this thing made of ?
is that an in-tank filter, or the one in the engine bay filter? The engine bay filter I removed was a stack of washers, so I am guessing that went in the tank. My 1952 truck had no in-tank filter

Re: Lot of Talk about Batteries.......
Thats where I'm at now. When I bought the old truck, I ran down to the local auto store and bought two $100 dollar batteries, and they have worked for years. I will probably do the same again.

Re: Lot of Talk about Batteries.......
I give up. Saw the 24 dc and thought voltage. You get the idea though. Are there any simple 24volt batteries we could use without running two 12v batteries in series? and not spend $200-400 plus to do so? My truck is pretty basic and I have no aftermarket ad-ons to suck a lot of power. The battery s...

Re: Lot of Talk about Batteries.......
Darn, it did say 12v. I missed that, and it popped up in the 24v google search. Must have been the group 24 part. How about something like this for $99?

Re: Lot of Talk about Batteries.......
I run a optima red top in my 4runner daily driver, and I use a yellow top in my pop up camper. They have been great batteries. However, these are $200 plus batteries, any we need two of them. Has anyone run something like this http://www.apexbattery.com/trojan-24-agm-12v-76ah-battery.html?utm_source...

Re: fuel pump problem
I occasionally run 2stroke oil in my M37. Mostly because it is the most primitive engine I have, with no MAS, computers, injectors or catalytic converters. My M37 eats my stale dirt bike gas and doesn't miss a beat. I have an electric pump though, so no benefits there

Re: 40000 BTU heater
I love that install under the seat. As far as the plumbing side goes, how do you control the flow of coolant to the heater? Were the coolant lands run under the cab floor? Do you get adequate heat from the cold blooded 230 motor? It seems to take my truck forever to get up to temp in the winter
