i pulled the distributer out ...it doesn't seem move or spring back the way it should.. i sprayed it a few times and it seems to move and spring back now...i hope it doesn't matter if it got turned... i know where number one wire is and where it was pointing... and i brought it up on a commpression ...

put a new carb on and she still skips. going to try to rest the points. should i pull the shield off the fender or pull the distributer

well its not the carb... just put a rebuilt one on there.. go to the electrical now..

new regulator from vintage power wagon???? somethings wrong

plugs in good mounts good... when i try to put on my battery cable on it makes the generator hum and it may be turning ( not sure).. i just dab the cable on i don't leave it on there cause it sparks bad.... any advise.. anybody have this issue before. 195 for this solid state regulator

i have one coming from vintage power wagons..by the time i take time off from work to bring it to the rebuild shop and then pay for it to be done it was about the same money to buy one from them..

i washed the engine down 3 weeks ago and after that it did not charge... i took the regulator cover off and tapped the points on the regulator. at times they would move but there was nothing on the gauge.. the middle one really never moved. i did see some spark here and there and it would start to o...

the spurting is there sitting there with the throttle to the floor. i don't hold it there i don't want to blow it up...

i can sit in neutral and rev it up and its seems ok. soon as your driving its when it starts to buck when u are past 30/35/ maybe it does at this speeds but it is not as noticable, probley should drain the tank

kind of under a load...it has a inline 5/16 filter i changed that.

spurtting at higher speeds

the new m37 i got runs and starts perfect at 25/30 mph any higher 35/45 it starts to sputter and kick a little. does not pop .. changed fuel filter but didn't seem to help.. starts right up and idles great.. has original system. nothing seams to be modified.any help would be great.
