Re: Replacing exhaust manifold (Building a header)
Hi Issac, Great job with the header, when I bought my M37 the manifold had a couple of good sized cracks. At the time I hadn't realized there were so many NOS manifolds out there so I also set out to build one. Mine is not nearly as exotic as yours, I made a close copy of the original. If I knew how...

Re: M37 wheel needed
The pictures a little blurry, but those look like 1/2 ton rims to me. The lock ring on M37 rims is much wider.

Re: M43 converted to a camper
NH Johnny, How about rigging up the M43 as a pantry/kitchen/generator storage and towing a popup trailer? pop ups are great for sleeping in due to all the screen windows but the cooking facilities in a pop up are lacking. You could also set up a nice bathroom in the M43 for the women in your life. B...

Re: Frame Repair Help Needed
Elwood, That's an easy fix... -Clean up the outside surfaces with a 5'' angle grinder, clean up the cut edges with a carbide burr in a die grinder or pistol drill. -Make cardboard templates to fit neatly in the cleaned up holes. trace on to the correct thickness steel plate, thicker is o.k. -cut out...

Bill,
The best thing you can do is make light of it, some of my best stories involve all the thing I've broken by accident.

Re: Truck noise volume while driving
Refit,
your truck looks great, really like the blue. Mine is loud and whiney too, I think it's normal. It also has a leak or 2.

I also wear a full face shield, It fits nicely over my glasses. Another good piece of gear are those headlight headband things, super handy.

Re: Tailgate Chain Covers ?
Hi Bob,
That's not being a stick in the mud, that's the voice of experience. I hadn't considered the impact of UV rays on an inner tube. I guess i won't be making a fortune selling rubber chain covers on E bay.

Re: Tailgate Chain Covers ?
1 bicycle innertube would make quite a few chain covers.
