Re: Turn sig help. new install

You have a ground issue on one of your lights, check the right ones. See to make sure you did not pinch something somewhere in your wiring.

Re: HELP !

How did you turn out???? Im pretty sure that you were air bound. I usually feed some fuel down into the line to the pump to help get that suction going from the tank. This especially works if you still have a filter up by the voltage regulator like I do. Once back together, I have soldier #2 start t...

Re: HELP !

Disconnect your line from the carb and prime the pump with fuel. Then try again. You can also hook it up and give the engine a shot of ether, This would help prime the system. Sounds like your airlocked

Re: New guy new truck pics

Wow that is a time capsule....... Yep if it were me, I would just fix what needs to be fixed and enjoy it. Looks to be even new wiring too. Friendly suggestion. Find the heat shield for your fuel pump and its my personal reasons that I run a all metal fuel filter instead of plastic. It looks that yo...

Re: My AF truck's jolt of progress...

Hi Guys, Here are some pics of the firewall insulation padding in my AF M37. The padding looks to be made of three layers of paper hardboard followed by what looks like layers of corrugated cardboard. I picked up the firewall insulation set from John at Midwest last year.........opened the box....a...

Re: Top question

After looking through some of my acquired "M37 stuff" I found a canvas cab top but I really think it might be for a deuce 1/2 or the like. It has the metal twist fasteners along the exterior of the upper sides (above the driver's and passenger's heads). Rectangular plastic rear window. Al...

Re: Master Cylinder Rebuild Kits

Hey VT, Ya know.....I'm being way to cynical regarding the pimple faced kid behind the counter. I was him once. At that age he can't possibly know about part numbers from 60 years ago, nor could I back in the day. It's just that I'm cresting 50 and can see "old man" from here........and n...

Re: trucks in MA region on Craigslist

There are 3 more in Mass . They were on Epay and did not sell and if you looked close there is a third he will sell. I think Dartmouth Mass.. messaged off epay and he had two on there for 1500 and the other truck was 500.. I would buy all of them but I can't even get rid of the clean roller I have ...

Re: Master Cylinder Rebuild Kits

Thanks K. But next time I'm in NAPA and the dumb-ass kid behind the counter asks me what I need............I'm going to say part number 1. Just to see that confused expression come over his face along with the blank stare. Me and him got a relationship like that. :D Although, if he were smart he'd ...

Re: yellow hood accent

The Yellow Stripe on the front of the hood was a marking for a transportation group in Vietnam. The commander of the group wanted to be able to see his trucks from the air as he was flying around, so he had his all his vehicles marked. I don't remember the unit designation, sorry. Someone else on h...

Going to bump this to the top with all of the recent radio chatter. I hope to get back on this project soon. I get lots of comments on the radio install.
