Power socket
Does anyone know where I can get hold of the plug for fitting into the external power socket next to the driver's door? Its really handy for charging the batteries.

Temperature guage
Something not right with my replacement temp guage and sender. I have wired it up as per manual but after a little while the actual guage gets really warm!
Any ideas what I could have done wrong?
I have live wire to one terminal of guage then wire from the other terminal to the sender.

Vacuum Wipers
Anybody any ideas on how I canrun my vacuum wipers when I dont have the mechanical fuel pump fitted to my truck?
Is there part of the manifold I can connect the vacuum hose to?
Or do I have to switch to electric motors?
Any help and advice welcome !!

Thanks again folks for your input. I maybe should have mentioned earlier that I have a Canadian M37. Does this make any difference to your diagnostics? I had a closer look at the plate on the trans and it has, what looks like, a service plate from a company called The Gear Centre in Edmonton. It als...

2nd to 3rd gearchange
Hi folks, I am new to this group and have recently aquired my 1952 M37. I have been reading, with great interest, the articles in this forum. Now, my question is, I am finding it really difficult to change from 2nd to 3rd gear without it sounding like I am feeding a box of spanners into a lathe. Som...
