Ord # identification....
Came across some original canvas in great shape but do not know what it goes to. Was able to pull this ORD # off of them, 8344803. Any ideas? Found that #8344802 and #8344804 are both M42 side covers. These look the same as what is in ORD 9 G-741 but the number is wrong. I also notice that some of t...

Re: Carb rebuild
just picked up a copy of TM 9-1826A and have to say it is very detailed. Nice thing is it covers all of the Carter built carburetors that the military used up to that point. Definitely worth adding to the TM collection.

Tuning up the Little Red Hen, An M5A1 Stuart tank!
Figured id post up some photos of our project that has been on going for a month or so now. Had some issues with the engines running very rich and some suspected fuel leaks. We decided to pull the armor and radiators to investigate and really found out what ethanol does to the old gasket materials! ...

might be worth checking out the local carquest. They carry doorman stuff. They are most likely to have something like that but you may have to con them into looking in the catalog.

Glad to get a great reaction here! Some other forums didnt like the shooting aspect of it. I know its not M37 related but it is MV related. Boy what a heck of a time, its amazing to hear and see the old girl alive!

Armor at a machine gun shoot
Got invited up to a Machine gun shoot in Casper, Wyoming this weekend. The owner of the Stuart tank wanted to have a full "crew" with the tank to put on a little show for the crowd and kids. "Hollywood" as he kept calling it. We trucked up the Tank on Thursday and stayed up there...

Re: scored a new toy!
No trees around unfortunately and the lumber trucks cant come up the street because they sink into the pavement. Its to tore up for that. I think ill just have to use muscle power to get it out. It looks like the total weight is around 500lbs. I think 4-5 people ought to be able to get it out. Were ...
