Re: PCV blockage in intake manifold?
You could get a set of internal pipe wrenches. They insert in the pipe, and engage with a serrated cam when you turn it. Search them on amazon, they're not that expensive.

Re: 351W Mods
I'm running a GM LS fuel injection, and mine is kind of a dead end system. My filter and regulator are mounted to the frame rail near the tank, and my return line is just a couple feet long to a fitting I added to the pickup plate/in-tank pump module. My filter/regulator is an off the shelf stock pa...

Re: Is this nuts......or what?
Okay, its not MV related, but I found this one today while browsing through craigslist. Seems pretty steep to me for an air filter that fits a lot of applications.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I've been very happy with the functionality of it so far. I even added some chain covers. I used some woven stuff I picked up from a hydraulic hose shop. It set me back $3.

Re: Winter in the Northeast
Honestly its not been that bad for me. we've had single digit temps on what seems like a weekly basis here in TN. I even got into a bit of snow on a jobsite last week. But Its been warm enough on the last two weekends for me to go out topless in my M. I'm still ready for spring though.

Re: M37 Build Records from Chrysler
Here's the pics I promised. Its actually Stamped on the Driver side frame rail. I also included a pic of my original Tailgate where you can easily make out through the faded red paint "U.S. ARMY 2410815" I think My truck may have gone through a depot rebuild at some point in the early 70's...

Re: M37 Build Records from Chrysler
I found my hood number stamped on the top of the frame rail between the bumper and grill. I believe it was the passenger side.

Re: 4 wheel drive question
No, our trucks came with open differentials(no posi-traction). If you have the transmission in gear with the engine off, or the parking brake set, and you jack both rear tires up, if you rotate one tire, the other should rotate in the opposite direction.

Its the naked headlights that I really don't like. it just looks funny with out headlight guards. I'm not crazy about the tires being way past the fenders either.

Re: Restoring plastic windows
I would think that a decent auto upholstery shop, or marine canvas shop would be able to replace the window and give you a few more years of life from that top.

They are for stowing the cargo cover bows. There should be a couple of straps attached to those brackets for that purpose.
