Passenger Backrest

How does the passenger backrest come off? I see there are two hooks on the top but it looks like its bolted on the bottom.

Bad week for the M-37

Oh my, what a bad week for the M. And all my fault. First, I pulled the M out of the garage and the overhead door slipped down a bit and caught the canvas top and tore it up. Ok, ordered a new one from Beachwood canvas. $295.00. Then, after a few days I removed the top and figured I'd like to see wh...

Brass Data Plates

Really love the brass data plate sets offered by MVDataplates.com. I KNOW it's not original looking but I think they're sharp. Has anyone dealt with Mr. Kelone ? His website is still up but he hasn't returned any emails or answered his fone. Been trying for weeks.

Synthetic 50w Trans oil.

OK, picked up a couple of gallons of synthetic 50w manual trans oil. My question is do I just drain out the old 90w and refill with the synthetic or must I somehow flush out the remaining 90w residue?

Good for you! Put my latch assembly from Midwest in last year. Yes, very tough but doable. Did your hands heal up yet !!!

Re: HELP !

Thanks, this one really had me stumped. Lucky that my friend came over to give a hand, an retired truck mechanic. He discovered the suction at carb inlet.

Re: HELP !

OK, got it running. Heres what happened. I plumbed the pump the same way it was on the old pump. On the old pump the inlet was on the left and outlet on the right, facing the pump. After many times removing the pump I applied air to the gas tank and got fuel after the shut off valve. No problem ther...

Re: HELP !

Sure theres no blockage. Truck ran great before I messed with pump. Just wanted to put new one in cause the old one leaked a bit plus wanted one with new diaphragm to handle todays fuel. Sure if I prime the system it will run. I'll keep you all posted. Thanks everyone !

Re: HELP !

Tank is almost full. Threw in a few gallons to top it off anyway. Line is off at carb. Tomorrow or Tuesday gonna pour some fuel into pump at carb fitting then take air hose and pressurize the tank some. That should work. Used the pretty Tundra (non OD) to represent my Vietnam Veterans Of America cha...

Re: HELP !

I'm lost. Put old pump back on and still no fuel. Is it possible I'm missing the cam lobe. Don't see how. I guess no parade tomorrow.
