Re: Sid Beck
After an email from his wife and a note from him regarding going out of business I had a feeling he wouldn't be around much longer. I talked to him on the phone on several occasions and felt like I knew him forever. Really helpful, a truly great guy who will be missed.

I thought the tank vented out through that line myself till I discovered that the vent valve on the gas tank only allows inward flow to keep from pulling a vacuum on the tank.

Interesting discovery about fuel filler necks
My M37 fuel filler neck has the standard single position where you put the cap on and turn it till it's on all the way. My M43 has a fuel filler neck that is configured like a radiator neck, you can put the cap on part way and it won't come off but it's not tight, and you can tighten it further just...

That sounds like the 1.5 ton trailer. You need the 101 series, 3/4 ton trailer.

Re: Tires
I'll throw this thought out. Flat spotting was mentioned, so to add to that Nylon cord tires obviously do that worse when sitting in colder weather. If you were only going to drive for a few miles in colder weather the flat spotting would be aggravating, since most of the ride would be with rough ri...

Same here, I've never seen any carrier other than the type in the picture Carter posted.

Re: Operating temp?
If the cooling system is in good shape your engine should maintain what the thermostat is rated at, or pretty darn close anyway.

I'd say it's some sort of jack, looks a lot like a jack for a slide in pickup camper.

John Bizal (MWM) told me there is only one manufacturer of the plug wires, so based on that it wouldn't matter where you got them.
