Has anyone repaired the speedo cable? I have three M37s and all three were broken. Is there a source for new? Also looking for 4.89s.

Must have been a bad connection in the light switch or power to the swithc because both the dash and headlights would go out. Has not happened for several days now. Road vibration helps, the more driving the better!

When the lights go out ...

My lights (headlights and dash) go out for about 30 seconds intermittantly. I thought the circuit breaker might be at fault and jumpered it with no luck. Is there a circuit breaker built into the light switch?

Air Force M37s

Can anyone tell me if the Air Force M37s used the same OD green canvas for cab or cargo? What were the original seat covers? I saw an earlier post that said the steering wheels were not green, but black instead. One of my M37s is ex Air Force and have changed my mind on paint color from OD to strata...

This is the short-term answer because I plan to make a daily driver. I have a rebuild kit, and as soon as the budget allows will buy 4.89s and ma...

Rear end ring & pinion question

Trying to get up and running to drive the MVPA convoy in Ohio. Pulled the rear pinion carrier to find the ring gear badly pitted. Then pulled both parts trucks rear carriers and they are also pitted. How much can I get away with? The plan was to sleeve the pinion flange, turn an adapter on the lathe...

R2 Crash Truck?

Can anyone help with information or have an idea as to the value of R2 Crash & Rescue Trucks. I just looked at one that the winch has already been removed, the body has been removed from the large side panel doors back. It was titled and driven as late as 2003, but I don't know if the motor turn...
