I thought about that, too, Charles. Since he said that a "tap" on the dash (probably more like a "thump" or a "whack") sent it back to a full reading, it's possible that the guage itself is sticking.

I would prefer to have one that was right-hand drive, actually. If I owned a Roller, I'd want it to be "authentic" that way, too! :)

What's the "responsible agency" on the data plate?? That may help determine whether or not it was originally an Air Force truck. Mind you, assets were sometimes transferred from one branch of service to another according to mission requirements at the time.

Those are a couple of sweet Land Rovers, Phoenix! I wouldn't mind owning either one of them, actually. Having the steering wheel on the "wrong" side would not be a problem for me. ;)

Thanks for the fix, Robi. I was about to go into total meltdown without my daily M37 fix! This format looks quite a bit "different," but I'm sure I'll get used to it. :D
