Re: steves M152

I saw that truck when I stopped and talked to your friends a couple years ago. They will probably remember me as the Yank driving the CUCV. I was hoping to buy a deuce air horn, but no luck.

Small world in the milsurp arena around here.

Re: Started work on my m37 yesterday.

Truck is parked at another location, keep forgetting to take camera. Now looking for covered workplace for the winter for it. Went by today, still won't start, but turns over fine. No spark. Checked out power to distributor, found the connector had become separated, tarnished, and the wire broke in ...

Started work on my m37 yesterday.

Finally started work on my truck yesterday. Had some daylight left, weather was nice. Stopped and bought antifreeze, distilled water, 2 batteries and a radiator cap. Got to the truck, and started with the radiator. Took off the cap, and poured in a gallon of distilled water. I had been worried about...

Re: Low compression

Jim, I found a donkey d**k at a local pawn shop, US GI one. Missing the screen though, but I believe they are available cheap on line. My cost was 10 bucks. Interested?

Re: Low compression

Glad to know about the change in formulation regarding zinc content on Delo and Rotella. I guess I'll have to find a RP or Amsoil dealer.

Working a deal with a local museum. He can get parts from DRMO, and can use those parts to trade for items for the museum.

Re: M37 on Whidbey island

Could be.......Not on Craigslist anymore. as the M37 going towards Whidbey or away? The M37 that was on Craigslist was shown as being in Ferndale, About 10 miles away from me.

Seems to be a lot of M37 owners in the WA/BC area of operations.

Re: New member with new M37

Did some work on the truck last evening. Stopped by my friends place where I have it parked. Pulled the old dry rubber seals between the side panels and the fenders. Then I sprayed every nut and bolt on the hood, fenders and side panels I could find with PB Blaster. The side doors to the tool area u...

I get down to Bothell every now and then to go to D&J Pawn....Kenmore seems to be very close. Hopefully this project won't end up in the jeep category....just empty every pocket.

Re: New member with new M37

Oh, yes, the embarrassingly good deal.
