not up on m56s but I almost put a m37 cab on a ambulance chassis and was going to make a long box out of 2 m37 boxes. I have a few box sides I would sell if your in the pnw

I also installed a s10 tank. fits good. alittle smaller @ 80L vs the stock 100L tank.

ive been without a fuel gauge for 15years so if you get the 12v s10 sender working with the stock 24v gauge I would like to know.

you could also cram two 12v condensers in there if you cant find a decent 24v. cap would need a bit of clearancing to fit

how much slop is in your dizzy weights ? if you grab your rotor and turn it back and forth how much free play exists ? ive seen loose rotors and dead springs cause such symptoms. with a timing light how much does the mark wonder at a given rpm?

I had a issue like that. the dizzy it self was assembled 180 out . I just step the leads around not wanting to disturb the advance weights and springs.

that would be the heat riser. the plate directs hot exhaust gasses to the intake at warm up to help atomize the fuel and help the carb from icing over. the importance of the valve will be dependent on were you live and at what temp you operate the truck. living north of the 49th I would have the val...

if your doing fluids what are you going to use ?

I use rotella 15/40 in the flathead with some brake in oil . trans and T case gets 50w synthetic or atf. 80/90 in the diffs. dello400 in the winch and steering box. silicone .5 in some regular .3 in others

keep fighting they are a pain. got one on my fist try another sits flat when closed but wont raise all the way and a third one moves its full range but sits crooked when closed .... got hours into it
