-34P Manual
Hi everyone, Does anyone on here have the TM 9-2320-212-34P in electronic format that they would be willing to lend to me? The version I have is missing a bunch of chapters and there doesn't have the information I'm looking for. Thanks.

Re: Bridge plaque paint
I guy I know here in Ohio used yellow pavement lines marking paint. The color looked spot on, the only problem was the can is made to spray upside down so that made painting a little more tricky. Maybe look into that?

Re: M37B3 Project
Okay so I finally got off my back side and spent the day rearranging the garage and the back yard and now I have a little room to work. I had to move the cab out of the garage to behind the house so that I can work on repairing the frame, painting, and getting the frame put back together. http://lea...

Re: M37B3 Project
Not much new to report here. I've been busy with life things and haven't had much time in the garage. This weekend I plan on trying to figure out where to put the cab till I'm ready for it so that I can work on the frame and start throwing some paint and getting the frame into a roller. I just wish ...

Re: M37B3 Project
Well I got out to the garage for a few hours yesterday as we had one day of good spring weather before spring decided to go south again on us. As I stated before I finally got the frame, front clip and cab out to the blaster in middle October and got it back in early January. So here are a few pics ...

Re: Win some, lose some....
The worst part is I'm old enough to remember when you could get NOS NDT 900x16 for around $75.00. I find myself doing things like that should only cost X dollars...Yeah in 1985.... I always underestimate how much something will cost because my brain is stuck in the past. LOL!

Re: Radios for a USAF truck
On the GRR 5 you can use just about anything for a temp antenna for testing a length of wire even will work.
Sounds like you've got some things to work with. Of course if you just want something for display then working doesn't always need to be an option you can just install it and go.

Re: Radios for a USAF truck
Are you wanting a radio for talking (i.e. Ham Radio) or just listening? A GRR-5 is a nice receiver to put into any vehicle and you can run it on the 24V or 12V so if you wanted to have a dedicated car battery for it you could. Just needs a simple AB=15 antenna and you can listen to Am radio station ...

Re: Help ID Brothers markings
You are correct in your post. The numbers on the side of the APC is the vehicle registration number. The unit markings would be on the front and back. Hopefully you can find a head on or rear shot of your brothers APC or another from his unit where you can get the markings. Once you have those the a...

Re: M37B3 Project
I finally got my truck back from the sandblasters a couple weeks ago. The body did not develop any new holes. Seems I did a good job fixing all the rust in the cab. The frame on the other had has a few spots that opened up. Once I can get back into the garage this spring I'll be doing some grinding ...

Re: Paint with Olive Drab Semi Gloss or not
I agree with Nam Vet that knowing who had the truck when in service and who had it from when it left service up to you is hard to say. It's very possible that a former owner was a prior Marine and stenciled USMC on his truck because he was a jar head and didn't know better. All kidding aside...then ...

Re: What is this for?
DSC01664 (Small).JPG DSC01665 (Small).JPG I'm digging through stuff that came with my truck, and I came upon two of these. Anyone know what they are for? These might be out of the M43 ambulance? To me they look like the part that holds the litter that hang from the ceiling. That's my guess any how.

Re: WTB Complete Soft Top Setup
Hi All, Thanks for the replies. My son-in-law and I where talking about it and have decided for now to try and fix the hard top. So far it hasn't been that bad except that my mig even on the lowest setting blows a hole threw that sheet metal because it is so thin. So I've had to be very careful in w...

Re: Guns & Gas Tanks
If you can get the physical measurements for that ford tank then it might work. You would have to modify your pick-up tube and your sending unit for it to work with the M37. If you have the original tank still then look into either refurbing it your self with something like POR-15s tank renu or a co...

WTB Complete Soft Top Setup
Hi All, My M37 has a USAF hardtop that is beat to heck and back. Rusted badly, bullet holes where someone used it for target practice, etc. The longer I'm into my project the less I want to try and repair this and use it. Therefore I'm looking for all the parts to make my truck a soft top. This woul...
