M37 wipers have the individual switch on the wiper motor.

Same here, took them apart for blasting, priming and paint. Then lubed with a teflon type spray.

Yes 2243 is the stock plug. You should be fine with those in it.

He's mentioning yellow and green as if talking voltmeter, but calling it an ammeter. Did they have ammeters that were color coded?

The slave cable positive goes to the starter and the ground on the frame. Don't know about the radio power.

Glen, When it comes to OD paint, most body shops would not have a clue. Enamels are now a thing of the past. I'm curious, wouldn't the person who was going to do the bodywork and painting tell someone exactly what type of paint to buy in the first place, rather than leaving the paint buyer to figure it out?

I visited AB last spring and he did seem and little crusty and frumpy. Everything in his inventory was purchased from the Govt. he has nothing reproduced that I can tell. AB can be and generally is short in his e-mail responses, on the phone I talked with him for over an hour and could have gone on...
