Re: Latest Master Cylinder Info

Not a simple bolt in, but all I had to do was drill two new holes in the support after mocking thins up to make sure the plunger would line up. Drilled the holes, took the two bolts from the old one bolt it on, bled the lines, and has been awesome since, residuals will go in once either a disc conve...

Re: Latest Master Cylinder Info

I know Raybestos makes a rebuild for the original single M/C. I might still have the box for it.

There's a reason I went to the dual M/C from speedway. Better braking power, and a corvette m/c rebuild kit will cover it.

Re: What the Torque?

Yeah, I'm looking for light wheeling and such. I do need to relearn how to offroad with a stick though a bit.

Is there a set torque spec though?

I know, the hotrodder is showing....

What the Torque?

Does anyone know the torque limits for the stock axles?

I might be able to work a deal out with my dad about a small block chevy that's mildly hotrodded to move from his Camaro to the M. Just want to know if I need to prep for a swap, or if they hold up to it.

Re: Does Midwest Military post here?

I was able to call the number posted on his site a little less than month ago and talked to the man himself. Very helpful and prompt service.

There's an adjusting slot? I either over looked that or I'm in the same boat. I did mine by feel.

Re: distributor gasket

So I ended up with a felpro mounting gasket for chevy small blocks Part number at autozone is 70194.

Seems to be working so far.

I found it by pressing a piece of card stock over the mounting surface and matching up a gasket to the oil profile on the card.

Re: distributor gasket

Bert,

Do you know the inner and outer diameters, in case I need to cut one?

Thanks in advance if you do.

Re: distributor gasket

So I'll check the Felpro one,

I would like to not have to buy an entire gasket set for one gasket.
