Gas tank install ?

My M never had a gas tank in it. It had a homemade tank in the bed. I'm finally getting around to install a nice tank I got from MWM a Long time ago and make it right. It did have the lower straps and upper supports still mounted to the front angle cross member. No bolts in the rear cross member, so...

Hi Tim,
Bruce is pretty much correct.

If you cut the 51 frame number weld it close to the 60's,not over it.
Keep it titled,as a 51,but carry a bill of sale or copy of the 60 title in the truck also.
Just my opinion,

It's your truck so do with it whatever you want. But personally I can't imagine why you would want a 6 BT over a 4 BT? The 4 BT is a much better choice with plenty of power. The 6 BT would be a waste of engine for what you will gain unless your trying to build a track only "Sled puller". I...

Yes that is the Thrust pad. It will need to be put back in and adj. Now for your next surprise, The hex nut on the adj. screw is supposed to be tack welded. Dumb move, but that's what they do. If it is you will need to carefully cut the weld or find a new screw and nut. Some MV suppliers have them NO...

They use a Tracta Joint in the knuckles which is the same. They use the same Dodge 9 5/8 diff. frt/rear. 5.83 ratio. All knuckle parts are t...

The PTO, runs in the same oil(gear oil) as the Trans. So by checking and filling the trans. you mantain fluid in the PTO. Some advise 50wt. engine oil,but I still use gear oil SAE 85/140wt. If you don't know what's already in it you should drain and refill with your choice so you know. It's most lik...

All of Mine are 101 1/2 inches end to end of the farthest most of nut extended.
Drive pin on small end is flush with end of nut.
On the large end it protrudes about 3/8" from the nut.
