Re: Ahhh........Here's what we all need...more power!

Maybe there is a kanutin valve in there  That's a Rochester 2g carb on it maybe it reverse pressurizes 1 barrel ( pressurizing the float bowl to assist in the fuel delivery from the other barrel ) and draws downward back to the engine through the other barrel . It would be interesting to...

Re: Just When You Think You've Seen It All.....

I'll have to agree with Jerry on this  :D I'm building a rat rod now right along side my m37B1 and m29c weasel. Its a mixture of Ford ,Dodge, Buick, semi's and household junk that's just laying around taking up space and collecting dust. I look at it this way ,its a way of doing some cleaning ...

Re: Paper Axle Gaskets

I use Loctite 515 gasket eliminator on all of the axle flanges here at my shop including my m37 and I have had good results with it. Its a little pricey but a tube will go along way when you use it sparingly. It cures when its confined and oxygen is depleted, and it will stay "liquid-jelly"...

Re: Help carb freezing

I would toss in some gas line anti freeze ( red bottle of Heet ) and see if it helps some. I run the stuff in my gas powered engines ( chainsaw, snowmobiles, Jeeps) thru the winter. It seems to help get rid of that dreaded condensation in the fuel system when the temps and humidity are just right fo...

Re: Anybody See the Yellow ???

I'm wondering how the paint stuck to that greasy  truck  Seriously though both of my m-37's didn't have any yellow painted grease point spots. I have seen red paint on a few pieces of heavy equipment that I have worked on over the years along with green, red and yellow little caps that co...

Re: Detroit Locker in M37 ??

I have run detroit lockers in Jeeps for 20+ years, one thing is to say that they are TOTALLY different animal on the streets especially when you have an offset differential. They are ,in my old school thoughts, still the best off road but on road they can be very dangerous. Like for instance you are...

Carl, That looks like a great representation of your truck and the display. :D What kind of response did you get from the onlookers and other show car owners? I would like to invite you to our Labor day weekend Threseree between Janesville and Edgerton. We have been bringing military vehicles there ...

Re: Moisture in oil and coming out the exhaust.

Condensation? Maybe? Does the truck get run enough to burn off any condensation? Is there a small hole in the muffler to drain off any excess moisture out of it? If you were to drain the oil would it be milky? Hopefully you find something simple. If it is the head gasket make sure the head and block...

Re: Winch

Don't forget the studs to mount the pto to the transmission. What I did when I removed my winch from its donor, I took an extra pto cover plate with bolts and a couple of fine thread 3/8" nuts (to get the studs out- put 1 nut on then use the other as a jam nut to help get the studs out). Put th...

Re: Help, Kubota diesel engine generator

I use a product called Power Service supplement in the mobile equipment that we are using during the winter. And for the main tanks here at the shop I use Schaeffer Diesel treat 2000 to keep the nasties in control. For my Dodge with the Cummins, when I go North to go snowmobiling I use Power Service...

Re: Help, Kubota diesel engine generator

Does it have an external fuel shut off solenoid with an arm attached separate from the throttle but in the same area ( all it does is move the rack to shut off the fuel past the injection pump plungers) ? It may also be a small solenoid on the side of the injection pump area without any external lin...
