Re: Marine Corps "Paper Clip" Winch Bumper Reinforcement
I bought a winch set up from a guy that had a USMC truck. There was a piece of strap steel connecting the bottom of one bumper to the other. It was about 1/4 inch thick and as wide as the bumper flange. Not too long. Long enough to span the gap and to have two bolts on each side. I don't see how tha...

Re: SC M37
Back to working on the truck this summer. I decided I like the way the high back Humvee seat sits better than the old springs in the old seat. Here is the bottom of the seat to try and figure out how to mount it. http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/data/3568/medium/IMG_60544.JPG Here are the seat runner...

Re: Bridge plaque paint
Back when I was attending the Huntsville MVPA show the guy that founded the TM9 paint company was there. We were asking him about his colors. He had the blue drab paint for the hood numbers and yellow paint for USMC letters as well as the bridging plates. He explained the can of original yellow pain...

I just saw on FB Marketplace some guy in Colorado Springs selling his whole MB set up. Everything was 24k. I wondered if he was giving up.

Re: Tailgate FS
Nice! That's usable as is and has the tool rack. Someone better pick this one up. I have a good one that I will use. I had to make my own winch bumpers by cutting up a normal bumper and creating the curves at the edge near the winch.
Best of luck!

The V8 will give you more top end. I would invest in getting disk brakes at least on the front. Charles offers a disk brake kit.
