Getting the run-flats out of a Michelin ?

Just got a set of 325-85R-16" on the rims for my 46 WDX Power Wagon.
What is the best way to get the run-flats out of the tires ? ? ?

Re: Need measurement on ball joint ?

I have my 46 WDX torn apart and the balls are 1".
Good to know, I was looking to have some ball joint studs made so that the origional pitman arm could be used on the reverse rotation boxes.
Once in a while, someone will have trouble with the WC or M37 pitman arm fitting onto the splines.

Need measurement on ball joint ?

Anyone have their steering torn apart at the moment ?? I need the measurement on the ball joints on the pitman arm or front crank. Just need to make sure that they are 1".
Thanks, Tom

Re: 5 lug 20"wheel?

THe older 5 hole rims I mentioned will not bolt right up, but need modified. If you search the net for pics, you will find a few that have done it.
Gama Goat tires are getting harder to find, usually $80.00 each and the adapters are $500.00 for 4.

Re: 5 lug 20"wheel?

To get up to a 40" NDT, I would look at Gama Goat tires with their adapters. they are 6 ply and a lot softer than the truck 20" tires.
There is a real old 5 hole 20" used on ton and a half commercial trucks from the 1940's and 50's.

I appoligize for no pics, when the Sheriff's office calls, we usually cut and run.
I tried a pic of my truck, but it says that the board attachment quota has been reached.

North Carolina hush puppies are the greatest, I would make a trip back, just for them and the Barbeque.

MI37 to the rescue - again !

Got called out by our local sheriff's office Search and Rescue unit this afternoon. An elderly couple had spent the night out when they got stuck on a hunting trip. They found them on snowmobiles only a 1/4 mile off the beaten path, they had got stuck in a huge mud hole. I had been running around in...

Re: M37 radials - Charles what did you use?

After just getting done with potato harvest, I am a firm believer in the XL's. Of course I am running the M-800 series of 10 wheelers. We put about 46,000 GVW on these trucks and run them through at least a foot of mud. I have a 900 series truck with the newer tire tread and they would clog with mud...

How did the GSA Wyoming sale end up ???

Last I looked about 2 hours before the end, the 2 or 3 better trucks were at $2,200.00 and the lesser ones were at $800.00 to $1,100.00. Did anyone see if there was a jump in prices at the end ??? One person that viewed the lot, said that they were a little rougher than what the pictures protrayed.

I would be interested in the surgical light, if your willing to ship. I do have M37 parts to trade. Will call.

Re: Strippin' that paint...

The only time to use a "flapper wheel" is if you are going right down to the metal. I let my crew use one on just the paint on my Gama Goat and it turned out really uneven. Good luck. I prefer to media blast even though it is expensive.
