Oh Oh ! Looks like I'm going to drain out that 40 weight ! Well, I can still use it to lube my winch amd choker cables, snatch block joints, and clevis couplings...But may I ask then, shall I use 10W30?

Yes indeed ! That's the idea ; even though the 12 volt coil costs 150. or more. Also, I remember charles from Rebuild saying to change to a civilian disributor requires a different oil pump...

Hello Frame up restorers, And I notice on my 1952 ex- air force M37 remains under the wheel wells of what were the strata blue paint you refer to in this thread. My original seat covers are OD, and my steering wheel is OD also. There are many holes drilled into the sides of diferent diameter the bed...

Hello long distance convoyers, And today's question is: Having installed 40 weight oil in my M37, and noticing a higher oil pressure even at idle, will I hurt, stress, or otherwise upset my engine with this oil?

Well now that I have grinded the weld tabs off, and destroyed one of them doing it, I shall : take down the Ben Laden poster form the firing range, order a replpacement "windshield top loop strap receptor"; I'm sure John Midwest's Machine Shop and otherwise impossible things to get service...

It stikes me that all your engines should not be cranking very mush in order to start! May I suggest checking your timing, set your ignition pionts and re gap those spark plugs ! On my rig I also put a guage on my fuel inlet line to carb to confirm 4.5 PSIG fuel pressure ..Even in the cold of new yo...
