Re: Aberdeen
I got home Sunday evening after a long trip back. My M725 performed flawlessly up and back. Yes, there weren't quite as many vendors or vehicles this year. But still an enjoyable event. I only saw one M37 there and few parts. I did pick up a spare tire I needed. I was all ready to spend almost $300 ...

Re: Aberdeen
Yes, I remember about three or four years ago it rained all day, every day until Saturday about noon. Not a good time. I just hope it doesn't rain while I am driving there. We all know how much fun it is pulling up a long hill with vacuum wipers on. Good thing there is that hand assist for backup!

Re: Aberdeen
I hope to see you there. I will probably have the only M725 there but I will be doing a lot of roaming around looking.

Aberdeen
Is anyone going to Aberdeen this year? I am going but I am driving my M725 ambulance. M37s are usually well represented and even though I have a V8 in mine now, the M725 has about a ten mph higher highway speed. It's a 500 mile round trip for me so, ten mph makes a big difference. I am looking for a...

Re: Winter covers for my M37
Bert, West Virginia has the highest average elevation of any eastern state. Even though we are below the Mason Dixon line, it is a long cold winter. My next task is a paint job, but that will have to wait for spring. Bob is right. You need a good quality tarp to stand up to long term storage through...

Winter covers for my M37
Winter has decended on the northeast and unfortunately, my truck has to sit outside. I wanted to preserve my canvas as much as possible, so I was going to remove my cargo cover and side rails for the winter. After removing the cover and bows, I decided to leave the side rails on and make an abbrevia...

Re: whats the difference between eary and late np420 trans
To answer your question about bolt patterns, here is my experience. When I was planning on swapping in a 318 V8 into mine, I researched and all the sources said that the stock NP420 would bolt right up to the small block V8 housing. I talked personally to guys that had done this and saw it with my o...

Re: Mid Atlantic Power Wagon Rally
You are right about that Tim! I was taking it easy with mine since I just put that fresh 318 in. You sure showed everyone what a stock M37 was capable of. I forgot to mention, this event was held near my home, Morgantown West Virginia. Maybe we can get some more M37s show up next year.

Mid Atlantic Power Wagon Rally
I attended the Mid Atlantic Power Wagon Rally a few weeks ago. It was mostly civilian Power Wagons but Powerwagon Tim and I represented the military contingent. This is a great bunch of guys and we had a good time talking trucks and getting them muddy! http://i1073.photobucket.com/albums/w400/Charli...

Re: Graveyard in the Gallery
Here is a poor 51 that has been sitting in a salvage yard near me for at least thirty years. I thought about buying it and resurecting it at one time. I did get all the metal stake pocket brackets and related hardware for $25.00. It cleaned up good and was still solid. http://i1073.photobucket.com/a...

Re: Kids love trucks!
That is one reason I like doing it. You never know when something like this may have a positive life long effect on a young child. I think the thing that got me interested in all things military was watching the TV show "Combat" way back in the 60's. The parents ask lots of questions too. ...

Kids love trucks!
Every year, we downtown merchants host an event called Kids Day. Every business has an activity that is free to every child. It usually attracts several thousand people. I brought my M37 and My M725 ambulance in for the children to climb on and through. With most car shows having signs that say &quo...

Re: It's bikini (top) time!
Bruce, I actually used three pieces of conduit. It is easier to bend and easier to store on the truck. It dissasembles in about a minute if you decide part way through a trip to get wild and go completely topless! I am not at my truck right now but I think the center straight section is about 43&quo...

Re: It's bikini (top) time!
I made my own rear bow from electrical conduit, but the top should fit the stock frame top bow. If you need this part I can probably make it up for and additional charge. I made a mistake on our phone number. It should be 1-888-393-0707 or 1-304-292-0707.
