Re: Door Bumper Replacement

I worked on the door some more tonight. I was able to drill out the remaining spot welds. They were not exact so I had to hit the bumper with a air chisel to get them out. Since the door was stripped I was able to get a 2" sander inside the door to clean up the spot welds so the new bumper woul...

Re: Door Bumper Replacement

I tried to remove the old bumper tonight I had no luck hitting the spot weld spot with the drill.

Are there any tricks to locate spot welds? I could not see or feel a dimple from the welder or slip a hacksaw blade in to locate the welds.

Door Bumper Replacement

The Door Bumper brackets inside my door is pretty beat up. Has anyone replaced them? I just ordered these parts from MidwestMil.

The originals used to be made by Cooper Aerospace. One could try an airplane supply house to see if they could make something similar

Napa sells the facet pumps. They list a 24v on the website.

Re: Anybody Go to RedBall?

I agree on the decline. Seems like most shows today are retiree shows or you have to take a day off from work to go on Friday. It seems like Friday night or Saturday's are pack up and go home days. Aberdeen this year was a washout on Saturday due to a storm on Friday night and Redball was ok on Satu...

Re: Anybody Go to RedBall?

Bob, I was there on Saturday with my kids. We walked the entire show and I came home with my money in my pocket. There were not many M37 parts as you said and when I went back to pick up a M37 rim the vendor had disappeared so I came home empty handed. There was a M37 based maintenance truck there. ...

I believe you are talking about the storage strap on the side of the bed for storing the top bows when not in use?

Re: SIDE BOARD KIT AND COVER NEEDED!

Midwest Military is making repro bow corners for the m37. They also carry the lazy back and seat parts.
I went with white oak planks for my Dodge. I bought rough planks and planed them to desired thickness. Ripped to width on a table saw and rounded edges over with a router bit.

Re: Another Titling Question - Model Number?

I can beat that. In NJ you have to take pictures of your vehicle to DMV when you title it as antique. It has to be in good condition. She goes to computer and checks Wikipedia for Dodge M37 and has issue since no side racks are pictured it can't be titled as antique. I had her go to Vintage Power Wa...
