Time to verify your compression tester! If it's correct I'm surprised that thing will start.

Do you have a leak down tester?

Re: Passenger side mirror, mounting pics needed.

I wonder if they were deleted in later trucks for cost reduction. A bunch of goodies disappeared on later trucks to cut cost. What year is the truck?

Re: My 1952 Dodge M37 re-building process

Argie1978, I just had a radiator re-cored. It was $$$! The price of cores has become nothing short of spectacular. Grant, the radiator guy, essentially cut off the folded seams and ordered a core to fit to the flanges that were remaining. It's not "original" but he felt it would be just as...

mike_m,
You may try Adams Driveshaft too.

https://www.adamsdriveshaftoffroad.com/

I had them build a driveshaft for another project and they do really nice work at a good price. They were also quite fast! What more can you ask?

Re: Tcase yoke flanges for 1410 ujoints

mike_m,
I'm curious to see if anyone chimes in. I've had issues with new joints not fitting the flanges well (undersized) and the bearings start walking after some miles.

You may contact Dave at www.jobrated.com and see if he can help. He knows the drivelines in these trucks well.

Re: 4psi. Radiator Cap that will work w/ Recovery Style System

Keep the fluid level at the max.
Allow quick visual inspection of system level
Eliminate coolant loss
Easy if I can find a cap!

4psi. Radiator Cap that will work w/ Recovery Style System

Hi All, I'm looking for a 4psi radiator cap that will work with a recovery tank on the M37. The 4psi caps I have seen all lack the second (upper) seal that seals to the OD of the filler neck. They will not pull any expelled coolant back into the system when it cools. I suspect there's something out ...

Re: 24 Volt Military Coil Modification

John, I was running a Pertronix module for ~5 years. I had issues a few weeks back and called their tech line to see how to test the unit. It was fried. In my discussion with the tech he asked if I was running solid core wires. I said yes, the stock wires are solid core. He said that was likely what...

Re: 24 Volt Military Coil Modification

Thanks Crew! Looks like there are some options for me to look into. I think I've found the necessary parts to get the vacuum advance dizzy I have up and running so I just need to pick up a civilian oil pump and the experiment can begin. One concern I have is the interaction of the governor and the a...

PoW,
Where have you purchased the best kits from? I've had mixed results too.

Re: My 1952 Dodge M37 re-building process

Argine1978, The ETW1 is a nice carb and works pretty darn well. When we ran the our M37 on the chassis dyno the mixture was near perfect and the governor is useful once you have it dialed in. I've resurrected a couple of ETW1's and they are not too hard to deal with. One was really funky and we clea...
