Re: Oil Leaks and more fun

It is not original to the truck. It is most likely a car engine that is a replacement. About the only internal difference that I am aware of is the M37 crank is a stronger and heavier one than commercial car/truck engines. If original to the vehicle it should start with T-245 *****. I have a site th...

Re: Correct First Aid Kit for '52 M37 ???

The top one is more correct. If the bottom doesn't have a hinge, but 4 latches it possibly could be correct as they were the late war version and lapped over into the Korean era. It would have been possible but rare.

Re: gas tank vent fitting

How does one make sure this item is working? Want to make sure it is in working order before I reassemble the tank.

Re: 1/4 ton jeep trailer?

Tim, Got a friend on g503.com goes by jeepdoc I think. He is in Lebanon, TN and has an M100 for sale $450. I got to see it about 2 months ago when he was working on it. Was really looking good. Replaced the floor with flat steel not raised ridges was the only thing. Well worth the money though! Phil...

Battery box questions

I have a few questions on the battery box that I hope some of you can help me with here. 1.) How is the battery tray attached to the box itself 2.) I am running a 100 amp system. The tray looks too small to hold 2 batteries. I read somewhere that the 100 amp system did not have a battery box. Should...

Re: New restoration thread

Officially he is a Boxer. Unofficially I tell people he is half watch and half pack dog. He will watch them pack it all off.

And thanks for the support. Have some hay to cut today and a county commission meeting tonight. May have a slack week working on it again.

Re: New restoration thread

I stand corrected, Tim. It is polyurethane and not silicon. I specifically looked for something that is paintable.

Re: New restoration thread

This section is on the battery box and my attempt on fabricating a lid from photos I have collected over the past couple of years. I got this box from one of my newfound friends on here Brett out of Murfressboro, TN. He has been a huge help and source of parts. Thanks Brett! I don't think it turned ...
