Re: Charles D Briggs Jr. aka Lifer

I am saddened to read the news of Charles/Lifer . I've been reading his posts since the Big Electric days. He was a great guy who always seemed to have a good word or a joke for everyone. I will miss his comments and sense of humor. You have my most sincere condolences. Lifer will be missed by every...

Re: Weird one for you guys!

Try these lads on the Isle of Wight. I think they've done an M-4. I think the engine type might be a factor but these guys will know.

Re: End of the trail

Lifer, I am heartily sorry to hear this distressing news. We have been amusing each other for many years. I figured you would outlast me. I guess I was a bit luckier in the draw and ended up with a treatable form of cancer. It was a superb act of courage on your part to allow us all to share in this...

Re: Paint help Please...

Tony, Maybe Ann would consider an alternate Airforce paint scheme (actually Army Air Corps.). It is very distinctive, and the fifty cal would make the road trains think twice about crowding her. http://imageevent.com/brigand/miscmilitaryvehicles?p=37&n=25&m=24&c=4&l=0&w=4&s=0...

Re: Laughter is the Best Medicine.....

Okay here's another involving St. Pete Three men show up at the Pearly Gates and St. Pete inquires of them "How did you die? The first guy says "I came home and found my wife in bed and she'd obviously been with another man. I tore the place apart and then I spotted a guy leaving the build...

Wrong Marley Bruce, This Bob Marley is from Maine. I hear him on XM from time to time.

There were M37's in "the Blues Brothers" as well.

Evil Brigand checking in.

Hey guys, I have been checking in from time to time but not posting.
I hope to be retired once again (at least from this career) in a few days. I hope at that point to resume playing with my toys.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Hey Guys, Just letting you know I still exist . I hope you all passed a pleasant holiday season. I have zero internet at the ranch and not much time during the day for playing on the computer, and I can't stand the coffee bars that have Wi-fi. I'll be heading North right after New Years but I'll che...

M24A3 mount

I have an M24 mount I believe it was originally an A2 for the WC series. I believe what makes the mount A2 or A3 is the mounting brackets . I also have a cradle and an Irac Inc. M2HB replica . I would consider selling but only as a package. I dither regularly as to whether I should keep it. But in a...

Re: Fire in Canyon Country

Hey Guys, For those that don't know, I live in Canyon Country, CA. the 10,000 acre fire has surrounded my house on three sides. Robi, I was worrying about you last night because I recognized the area. We're all thinking good thoughts for you. Sean should be a pretty good sized fellow by now and a g...

Donations address ?

Robi, I mentioned this in my first post on the new board, but it bears repeating. This great new software cannot have been cheap. So those of us who can, should pony up a bit to help off-set the cost . Not only of the software but server fees and the man hours you pound into this board. Please post ...

Looks Great Robi !

I like the new format. I've used it elsewhere and I find it generally easier to cope with. With a good watchdog like MM, there should be very few problems. I bet the software wasn't cheap, so I'll send a donation to help off-set the cost. Hopefully the rest of the bunch will do likewise. To that end...
