Anyone have a carb and air cleaner laying around?

Its been a long time but Im finally back on putting my truck together. Found/was able to afford the last of the large parts I need to bolt her up. The thing Im missing is the ETW1 carb, linkage, and the air cleaner. Ive got an elbow. Anyone happen to have a parts truck that has this stuff on it yet?

Re: Its naked!

Im very fortunate to have started with a truck that spent its life after the service down on a ranch near pheonix Arizona. No rust, no stuck bolts, no dings/dents. Cant wait to see it wearing its new paint!

Re: Finally back on track!

Found these markings stamped into the frame right behind where the under bed toolbox would be. Any ideas as to what they are/mean? Ive never seen mention of these numbers before, I found the same numbers stamped on both sides of the frame.... http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y106/cavemonkey/IMG_2012...

Finally back on track!

Dropped off my frame, cab, and some other large pieces at the sandblaster today! Should be done next weekend and the rest of the large parts go when I pick up everything else. Feels good to be back on track and finally getting some big progress!

Re: Craftsmans-sucking big time....

I am also a heavy equipment mechanic by trade and have demanding needs for tools. 80% of my box is SK and I have had very few problems with them. The open end wrenches are great because of the thicker than normal handles on them. Really solves the problem that snap on has with their high end wrenche...

68 W200 airforce ambulance

A friend of mine picked this up today and asked me to post it up for sale on the power wagon boards. Sure was a fairly easy recovery, it rolled right up onto the trailer. Figure it is an EX-MV so it should fit here fairly well. Its a 1968 W200 power wagon Airforce ambulance. Turned ATC truck for Low...

Anyone know WW2 era trucks?

We picked up this ex-military 1943 Dodge WF-32 fire truck and unfortunately all of the exhaust valves are stuck up. We are going to pull the head and go from there, they cannot be freed from the valve covers. What we are wondering is if the T118 engine uses the same head gasket as a 218 or 230. All ...
