Re: Laughter is the Best Medicine.....

Re: So now, to the blown head gasket...

Gary that doesn't look to good. Are you sure its a stuck thermostat and not a air pocket in the motor. Sometimes if you add the coolant too fast it doesn't have time to get the air out through that hole in the thermostat. Just my 2 cents...

Re: Stock Fuel Pump Mounting

Like 52M-42 I have never heard of a spacer or shim used between the stock fuel pump and block. But I did remember a post about the thickness of the gasket material used. Here is the link I hope it helps

Re: paint and spray gun for smaller parts?

ZG. Which ever gun you buy make sure it matched the CFM of your compressor. The CFM rating should be on the data plate of the compressor and on the gun. To give you some idea my compressor is rated at 8.6 cfm @40 psi and 6.4 cfm @ 90 psi . The 2 guns I use are Harbor Freight and there rated at 6 cfm...

Re: Laughter is the Best Medicine.....

AS I AGE, I REALIZE THAT: 1. I talk to myself, because sometimes I need expert advice. 2. Sometimes I roll my eyes out loud. 3. I don't need anger management. I need people to stop pissing me off. 4. My people skills are just fine. It's my tolerance of idiots that needs work. 5. The biggest lie I te...

Re: Hey Carter, License Plate light...

I used the same universal licence plate light that Gary used but mounted it on the license plate holder I made out of sheet metal and attached it under the drivers side tail light. By doing it this way all I had to run was a short jumper wire to one of the tail light connectors. (#21) The light is g...

Re: new to the whole m37

Are both battery's dead or just one? You can jump it if one is bad by putting your jumpers across the bad one but if there both bad or missing your out of luck. I wouldn't connect a battery until you first check to make sure the pos. (+) isn't grounded or other wiring is shorted.
