Indiana Jones M37/M42 and M101

Hi all

Just arrived back from Florida where I took the kids to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Outside the Indiana Jones stunt show they had these parked up. Quite effective and unusual !

Cheers

Re: 4x4 to 2x4

Is this problem common to other trucks of this age or is it something unique to the Dodge?

4x4 to 2x4

I know this has been mentioned before but is there a "trick" to taking the transfer box out of 4 wheel drive? Mine was stuck in 4x4 and I couldnt move the lever so I tried rocking the truck back and forth a bit but no luck so I drove down the road for about 3 miles and then I was able to s...

Re: Placing cab tub question and another

["M37UK"]Wayne, there is no need for the nut closest to the starter. I used 1 nut and star washers to hold it all secure. Stu the nut closest to the starter is needed to prevent the insulator from being damaged when you tighten down on the nut to secure the battery cable eyelets. Sal :mrg...

Re: resize a pdf file

How do I resize a pdf file and save the changes ? I currently have a 100 pg PDF file that is formatted for 8.5x11 inch printing. I want to save the file and upload it to a publishing website for A3 printing......8.5x5.5 inches. I downloaded a converter which re-sized it but, it wouldn't save the ch...

Re: Placing cab tub question and another

Wayne, how "heavy" is the wire from your alternator to the starter stud? It doesnt have to be a heavy gauge as all it is doing is charging your system. I use 4mm (11 AWG) cable for mine which is rated @ 60amps for 6.5feet. A good online calculator for cable sizing here: http://www.solar-wi...

Re: M37 front and rear axle shafts

Well, since none of my extra parts are selling, the following is going to the scrapyard on Mon: Front/rear fenders, bed panels, inner bed fender, super straight frame, axles, carb, misc brkts, etc. Too bad though. I've held onto this stuff for too long and tired of storing. If I was less than 5000 ...

Re: WTB DOOR TIRE CARRIER

Try Vintage Power Wagons, Last week I purchased what I would describe as a "perfect" carrier a complete setup for $275 look on page 89 of the body section, very impressed and pleased with this purchase http://www.vintagepowerwagons.com/pdf/parts/18body.pdf That sounds like a good deal Kei...

Re: WTB DOOR TIRE CARRIER

Let me add a little. If you indeed use the truck leave it off. I have one on mine and if it wasn't for me changing out the cab tub this summer it would already be in the bed laying on floor. I will be keeping it though for resale value if I ever sell the B1, along with the soft top frame. I have be...

Re: Slow Progress & an update

Maybe the early M37s are different, but on my M37B1 there is no way the wiring could be disconnected in cab and pulled out to the engine bay. Where I am now is I have brought both right and left sides into the cab and removed. The harness is now installed in my rolling cab tub. In a few rain free d...

Re: NEW Military GKN 1 piece tubeless M37, M101 & M101A whee

Did anyone find out if GKN have these wheels as a stock item?
Would it be possible for one of you kind souls to enquire on my behalf?

I would be interested in importing them into the UK.

Cheers
