Re: Aerovoe Paint - fading?
I found a company that sells a sealant/spray for flat and satin paints. I'm going to give that a try. It's only the black paint that has faded to a gray, the greens/browns are very "flat" and seem to be holding up fine; they actually appear to be a different finish from the black. What I'm...

Aerovoe Paint - fading?
I painted a camouflage pattern using Aervoe paints (aerosols) about a year ago. While the truck is garaged, I daily drive it during the summer months (and any other time there is no chance for salt on the road). So it sees a fair amount of time outside. I washed it for probably the second or third t...

(2) Autolite 2243 Spark Plugs
For pickup only, but free...leftover from my M37 days, recently found these hiding in a cabinet. These are the deals meant for the waterproof wiring, Autolite 2243 new in box.
Located in Mohrsville, PA. Again, free but pick up only and I have only two (2).

Re: Painting camo?
Ah, gotcha.
I was using that m880 template since it is really close to the 90 truck.

Re: Painting camo?
FTA, do enlighten me?
I'm actually not working on an M37, sold that several months back. I bought a 90 w250 Cummins and my 11yo daughter wants to paint it woodland camo. I figured this would be a good place to ask about getting it right.

Re: Painting camo?
CHALK!
That's what I was missing! I don't really have access to a projector, so it will have to be free handing with chalk from a pattern.
Thanks again!

Painting camo?
Ok, I'm looking to paint a truck woodland camo, likely a three color pattern, with some fourth thrown in the mix. This is happening a little sooner than I expected, so I've bought the paint (Aervoe), probably start cutting it in as I reassemble and then get the rest of the truck into primer shortly ...

After a long period of nothing...
Well, I said goodbye to the 53 a couple weeks ago...dragged it home from New Mexico in 2003, amassed a batch of parts, and never even turned a wrench on it in 16 years. Decided that it wasn't in the cards and that it needed a new home before it deteriorated any further. Found a MV enthusiast that wa...

FS - non-running 1953 m37, NW Pennsylvania
Feeling the water...for sale is a non-running 1953 M37 w/o winch, complete except tailgate and any cloth (originally from New Mexico). The front fender is tweaked (should be an easy fix) and the grill is tweaked (again, easy fix). Will need a front bumper. Very minor rust, a spot about the size of a...

Re: Antivirus and Malware on your computer??
ZoneAlarm makes a decent (and free) all-in-one antivirus, antimalware, firewall.
I use ZoneAlarm primarily, with an occasional scan from anti-malware bytes during the week. I had AVG, but it seemed to have gotten pretty invasive the last I used it...caused more problems than it prevented.

I know a friend lost a newly rebuilt (muscle car) V8, because the cam lobes were worn off during break in...he now runs Rotella 5w40 synthetic. I've rebuilt quite a few small-block Chevy and Ford engines and never seen that happen. How in the he!! can you wear the lobes off a cam during break-in???...
