Re: Cylinder head paint options
I had an old Willys flathead 6 that I painted with XO Rust primer and paint that I bought at a True Value hardware store. It is very similar to Rustoleum. I degreased the engine with solvent and hit it with a wire brush wheel in a drill to clean it up. I put on 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of gray p...

Re: parts for sale
I would like to buy the spare tire bracket, clamp and spinner if you still have them available, or just the spinner if that is all that is left. Let me know how much it would cost to ship it UPS or Fedex ground to zip code 44094. Thanks.

Re: Battery Tray - What Resists Battery Acid ?
I have had good luck using Randolph Acid Proof paint. This is a black tar like coating that I have used on several battery trays on jeeps and trucks. It was still holding up when I got rid of the vehicles - lasted for a few years at least. It is an aviation product that you can get from an aircraft ...

Re: Various M-37 Parts For Sale
If you can box up the bumpers and the radiator cover and ship them by UPS or Fedex, I can arrange shipping for the hood. Would you be able to make some kind of a crate for it? My location is Willoughby, Ohio 44094.

Re: Various M-37 Parts For Sale
The upper radiator cover I need is the panel that fills the gap between the top of the grille and the top of the radiator. It has a square hole in the middle of it that the hood safety catch fits into when the hood is closed. You show two of them in the last picture that you posted on 9/28/11. I'm n...

Re: Various M-37 Parts For Sale
Do you still have the hood, rear bumpers, upper radiator cover and the assortment of used bolts for sale? I would like to see a picture of the hood if you have one to show. Thanks.

Re: New Guy
Thanks for the information. I'll look for the number on the frame this weekend. Me and my truck live in Ohio, about 20 miles east of Cleveland.

New Guy
I just enlisted in the M-37 Registry and I am trying to find out the history of my truck. The title says that it is a 1953 M-37 and it was issued a State of California replacement identification number. The data plates have been replaced with reproductions and none of the numbers are filled in. The ...
