Re: Cost of power steering conversion?
The Euclid that I drove in the limestone quarry didn't have power steering, but I was never bothered by that "lack." I had never driven a car with power steering at that point, so had nothing to compare it to. Of course, the steering wheel was so big that it probably made up for it. I wou...

Re: Cost of power steering conversion?
On a lighter note, one of the guys that I wheel with quite regularly has an H1, and on the back window he's got a sticker that reads "H2 and H3 recovery unit" - my plan is to put a decal on my M37 that reads "H1 recovery unit"... Just for a laugh. Right on! "spoked" Fo...

Re: Cost of power steering conversion?
I started driving the M-37 when I was 11 years old and I am now 44. So I would agree that powersteering would ease certain aspects of the ride and driving experience. Re: Cost of power steering conversion?
I am new on here but I am a little confused about power steering on a M-37? I grew up driving a lot of old military surplus equipment and it had no power steering or power brakes and for me if I owned a M-37 it would have armstrong steering. I mean what is the purpose of having it any other way? If ...

Re: Tire safety video
Interesting video and one thing that I noticed is that tire is new, unlike a old milspec M-37 tire that has had 50 years of life and break down of the rubber becoming dried out and cracked with weak cords. Just imagine how a tire would let loose in that same type example, might give a whole new mean...

Re: Welcome to Board "Test Fire Range"!
Howdy, thanks for having me on the site. I was 11 years old back in 1979 and I lived in a boys home up outside of Amarillo Texas. I cut my teeth driving a M-37. We had at least 1/2 dozen on the line and several used for other specified jobs. One thing is I know those things pretty well and what I'd ...
