They are still in business. I rebuilt my carburetor and fuel pump back in 2007. They both are running good.
I did switch to ethanol free gas in 2009. There kits are very good.

Is there play in the shaft of the Dist? You may have a civilian oil pump.
I am guessing that you have put the engine on TDC on number one cylinder on compression stroke.
The rotor should be pointed to number one plug wire.

THE M37 was not designed to go over 45 and stay together. There are other trucks that are.
A small fortune can be spent trying to convert an M-37 to run safely at 55 mph.

Yes lots of trash on underside of truck!
After pressure washing there was still a lot of
roots stuck on the underside! There was a lot of
mud in the brake drums! It needed to be pulled apart to clean her up!
