Re: Disc brake retrofit kits for M37 and Power Wagon

Charles,

Looking at disk conversion kits for more common vehicles, I'd say yours' is quite reasonably priced for those want to stick with stock axle housings.

Re: Project: Old Guard - lots of pictures

It helps. I'll have to look at what you mean by high steer and such.

I've also considered using the Ford setup from an early 90s F250 with the TTB Dana 44. More research!

Re: Project: Old Guard - lots of pictures

Awesome job Master.

I have a question though, what did you do for the cross over steering? I think I'll do the same on mine.

Re: Engine Mounts

It's an 84-85. Thanks for the info, I'll order the mounts and see where the K30 frame mounts get me, or I'll fab some up if need be.

The transmission cross member should be interesting as well.

Engine Mounts

Hey, so later next month I plan to start on my engine swap using the Chevy 6.2L Diesel, and was wondering what people with the same engine and BBCs used for engine mounts so I can get them ordered and ready to fab in once I get to the truck?

Liberal use of acetone or brake fluid? I know that tends to eat rubber.

Re: Ford 351 swap??

The split hump pans that are found on Crown Vics and the such would work. I think such a pan is used on the gt40 5.0ls in the Explorers/Mountaineers.

In Balarat the one the Manson's had is sitting....

Seriously though I know of one in Joshua Tree that maybe available, runner, needs a lot of work though, not the original bed.

I just took one in with me to Autozone and had them cross reference it to 6 that would work for me.

Has anyone thought to reverse the flow on these? Use the exhaust as the intake and vice versa?
