Re: Check it out....M56 R2 Crash Truck (M37)
I'm the guy that bought it and the restoration is on it's way. We will try to bring it back to it's original glory. We've had it just about one week and have about 75% of the paint off and down to the primer. Did you land the M-56 or Carter's m-37? Either one is a good thing...... I scored the R2. ...

Re: M37 water truck
I just picked up an R2. Pretty lucky find. It's in pretty solid condition and the restoration has begun. I'm not able to post pictures from my iPad but will try to add from my pc later.
These trucks didn't carry water but did have a foam system.

Re: Help! I'm burning up coils.
Thanks Terry. The coiling lines are attached and I am going to use my compressor to blow them out. How did you install the resistor and where can I buy on? Could the capacitor cause overheating?

Help! I'm burning up coils.
I have an original M43 and I have been going through coils like water. At first it only happened if the ignition switch was left on with the engine off. Today I burned up 2 coils while driving the truck to a show. They went while the truck was traveling at 45 MPH. Is it possible that the capacitor i...

Re: M37 fording kit reproduction
Due to increase of costs, the exhaust pipe will now cost $150.00 plus shipping. It still comes with the mounting bracket and all hardware (grade 8) and gasket necessary to mount your pipe. I can include the "flapper" rain cap for an additional $15.00 (my cost). at the time of purchase. You...

The Restoration....
For years I have been looking for a nice, restorable M43 ambulance. Well on 9/20/2010 we frond a very nice one and bought it from fire fighter Rick in RI. We have been working on it almost every day and are not about 75% done. Should be no problem having it ready for parade season. Here are a few sh...

Beware of Military Mules & David Kelone
A month ago I bought a full set of data plates for my M43. I bought them from David Kelone who runs Military Mules and talked to him on the phone. He was going out of town for a couple of days and told me he would ship the following week and charged me $20.00 shipping. Now I know everyones seems to ...

I sell the exhaust alone for $150.00 and the intake w/bracket for $165.00. These pipes are copied from an original set I have on my truck. If you are inte...
