Re: Anyone been out to play in the snow yet?

Great pic! I have the standard NDT tires on mine...I'll bet the tire on your truck, with the added tread, are a bit better.

Thanks for sharing!

Anyone been out to play in the snow yet?

Hey Gang... I got out and played around a bit with the M37 in the snow today...WOW...wouldn't want to drive any distance in snow or ice in one! Tires ripped up the grass under the snow with all the spinning! Lots of fun, though. I will maybe get out and play again tomorrow. Anyone got any horror sto...

Spotted another one!

Hey Gang! A few months ago I was in Hamilton, Ontario. While driving on Stone Church Road, I saw a clean looking Canadian M37 in a residential driveway! I have been meaning to pop in to see what the owner is doing with it. So I was poking around on Google Maps today trying to find the address, and I...

Neat M37 for sale...

Hey gang... Found this neat looking Canadian (...appearing...) M37 snow plow on kijiji in Ottawa. Nice looking paint scheme, winch, cab heater, lots of lights and a hard top. Doesn't seem like a bad price for the rarer Canadian variant at $3400 I'd love to replace my 10hp Toro snowblower with this m...

Long trip today...

Hey Gang... Took the M37 to MoparFest today - Canada's biggest all Mopar show - Moparfest.com It's about 45miles one way...lots of hills...arg! Truck ran well...temp never climbed over 175 degrees. I got SWARMED when I parked it...unlike the States, us Canadians don't get too many old military vehic...

Re: More leaks! Arg!

Good point...I'll take a seal upgrade kit and seals for all the transfer case shafts (...if the upgarde kit doesn't include them...) I may as well do them all while I have it apart.

My wife says that eventually, the truck will have more new components on it than our daily driver vehicles!

Charles... Again, you are a great resource for these questions...so, as I prepare myself...how much are "the top of the line" seals that you recommend? And, do you stock them for sale? Thanks Ty
Usually purchase these only...

Re: More leaks! Arg!

Hey guys... That makes sense. I drained the Royal Purple out of the Transfer case (...don't worry, I saved it for a later date...) and put in gear oil. I found the required seals on Vintagepowerwagons.com and see from the exploded diagrams that they should not be too much trouble to get at. Ah well,...

More leaks! Arg!

Hey Gang... WIth an upcoming show approaching (...this weekend...) I thought it would be a good idea to put new fluids into the axles, transmission and transfer case. I put Royal Purple 40wt synthetic into the transmission and transfer case, and gear oil into the the axles. I parked the truck last n...

Re: Operating temp?

UPDATE.... Well, I changed the fluid in the axles, transmission and transfer case today (...used Royal Purple 40wt as recommended by Charles Talbert...) and took the truck for a spin. Firstly, I was impressed at how much smoother the shift were with the new fluid. The characteristic gear whine that ...

Awesome...thanks for the numbers, guys. The thermostat is in, the bezel is painted, and I just need to take it for a spin to see how it works.

Operating temp?

Hey Gang... Well, I finally got fed up with the inconsistant readings that I was getting from my original temp gage, and bought a mechanical one from Princess Auto (...it actually looks very vintage and correct...I just need to paint the bezel to match the dash...) Anyways, now that I will have a ga...

Re: Fire extinguisher,General Fire Guard, Quick Aid Model 85
Tyroma,

I will keep it in mind for my next truck.

Is the $15 to $50 include the mounting bracket?

Thanks,

Paddy
Hey Paddy...

Nope...just the extinguisher. I will grab the next one I find, and post it for sale here on the board.
