I'd tape off the area enough to strip paint off the numbers. I think the year delivered and the s/n combination might be the issue. I think your data tag shows 7/63 but I can't really tell from the photo. This puts it in the contract cycle but if you look at the S/N page it shows a different number...

The number on the frame is pretty clear and the data plate also shows the same number 88060

Looks like someone has dickered with your data plates. Use only the frame serial which is for a 1962 unit and do not enter a DOD. Many reasons for the dash plate anomaly. Often the dash plates are missing and the titled year may have been 63 do someone made up a 63 data plate with the 62 serial num...

Also on according to my data plate it says with winch. The refences I have show that for that contract a total of 14,059 were built and were all without winch. and none were w/w :?:
