Re: Antique Plates
Here in Pa. you could get the one time plate. I got PA Antique Historic Vehicle. Sounds nice. I put a 500 mile limit on it with the insurance co. Could have gone to 1000 mile limit, but Didn't think I would need it.

63 year old circuit breaker
This is an item that has been talked about in the past, old circuit breakers in the M37. I soldered some of the wires into the pins(or what ever they are called) on the end of the headlight wires. I wasn't too keen on this method, I liked the crimp better. So I took the plunge and purchased the crim...

http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g389/majorhitt/2014-08-17144618_zps6cd3cf1b.jpg Took My M37 to its first show. Had the boarding ladder set up, lots of kids liked to sit in the back and have mom take their picture. Had a fair amount of stories, What is this, and where did you get it? We did good...

Re: Soldering 14 ga wires
I've used both type of soldering irons, the gun style and the pencil type. I didn't really care for the gun style, I use the pencil type more now, and for times when the work can't get to the work bench I got the butane pencil type. I find myself using the butane more. Keep the tip clean and screwed...

Re: Advice wanted.....
I agree with bob, the book by Dave is not that good. A lot of info in the book is right from the manuals. Some of the methods of restoration would make most M37 owners gasp. Definitely not worth the money the E-bay listing is at, and not even the $20 price when the book was on the shelf.

Re: Passenger Side Rear View Mirror.....How ?
The two bolts next to the fording cover is where I mounted my mirror from a M35. Posted a photo earlier but you can't see the mounting bolts.

Re: Passenger Side Rear View Mirror.....How ?
I put a mirror like the one mounted by the gas can, The door and the mirror didn't get along too well. So I looked into the other mount that I posted earlier. That mounts using the two bolts that hold the side cowl in place. No extra drilling on the M37, Just on the bracket.

Re: 2 truck same problem
I had that same problem. It did end up being the gas cap. I did check the vent lines, and checked the coil
for correct ohm readings. Also check filters and valves in the fuel line.

Re: East Coast Rally, Only 2 M37 This Year
As noted earlier there was a large amount of open spaces at Aberdeen this year and last year also. It is my understanding that for the most part it was a sell out vendor space wise, However a good number of the empty spaces were people that wanted to park next to their spot and of course, some no sh...

Re: East Coast Rally, Only 2 M37 This Year
I've been going to the East Coast rally since the early 80's at Middletown. It grew and moved to the Proving Grounds. Lately It appears that there's a lot of internal fighting going on related to where and when the rally should be. Some people complain that there are no electrical hook ups , or show...
