I would look at the clamps that hold the rear "round" part of the frame, that they are seated in the groove in the base. I've seen them usually sitting too low on that part of the frame which could be the problem. I'm not near the truck or the TM, I know that there are good pictures detail...

A little bit of progress is better than none at all.

There should be a channel on the top of the windshield frame, the leading edge of the canvas top slides into.
