Hey Jess... i remember seeing a (faintly ) stamped number on the side of my drivers side frame rail under the cab ( between the rear cab mount and the toolbox part of the bed) mine is very faint and it could be the serial number or some other number.....?

Truck looks great, in truth these trucks were originally driven by soldiers barely older than high school students... not bad for a Depot rebuild job. I read through a few pages of the David Ahl book (on Google books)...I agree that it is more of a general vehicle restoration guide/love letter to M37's as far as a father /son project...that is awesome but be sure to communicate with your son about your vision for the project and his....you might w...
