Bert,
Where did you take it ? Looks like they did a good job. I have to get mine done and I was thinking about Wedige over in Elkhorn. Thats where I take all of my radiators from my shop.

Re: Tasteful automotive furniture
Being a single guy living in my own house I have made quite a few unique auto/heavy equipment related household items around my house. Like differential cover wall sconces ( cut them in half mount them to a nice piece of oak , black walnut, cherry with some stainless/chrome bolts and put in a L.E.D ...

Re: Craftsmans-sucking big time....
I've been working on heavy construction equipment for about 27 years now. I have a few of the older craftsmen tools ( back when the "C" in Craftsmen was inscribed with flat corners not rounded) that were my dads but those are kept home. The newer stuff just don't hold up anymore. In the li...

Re: Sand Blasted and Powder coated parts
Lookin' good. It's starting to get cold here in Wisconsin and the days of outdoor blasting are getting fewer and fewer I still have a ways to go before I can blast the bigger things like cab and fenders. My blast cabinet in the garage is going to get a workout this winter.

Re: Bought a Trailer Friday
80" is measured overall width. You might want to do some shopping around on the reflective tape, it's pricey  for good stuff that will last and stay stuck. I usually get it in 150' rolls and I have paid well over $100.00 probably closer to $200.00. A 53' semi trailer will eat up a roll i...

Re: Bought a Trailer Friday
You might want to check on the capacity of those axles and tires. In all of the trailers that I have built here at my shop I have not seen a small bolt circle 5 stud 5000# axle, they have always been 3500# axles. The 6 stud axles are rated at 5200# . Two 3500# axles will hold a m37 marginally depend...

Re: Dumb Question
Joe, Hey , that's my truck the day after I brought it to my shop here in Janesville, Wis. from North of Green Bay, Wis. :D I wondered about those bolts too when I removed them when working on the cab. Alot of that truck is green now but its still in pieces, many pieces  . And the black/rust t...

Re: m37 transfer case seals
Just make sure that when you put the sleeves on, that they go on straight and at the right depth. You only get 1 chance to do it right. Otherwise you get to go and spend another 20-30 bucks for a new sleeve. What kind of shape are the splines in the old flanges? I would not want to throw a sleeve on...

I'll be there, along with a few friends from the steel soldiers forum. They will be camping out in the swap meet area and the girlfriend and her son and me will be camping out down by the toy barn in a blue Dodge with a slide in camper. I have not decided what I'm bringing yet. Stop by an introduce ...
