Re: Need A favor folks, Distributor
Sal solved my issue with just a couple of pics. I had a 50-50 chance at it being right. Turns out it was fine, maybe I should buy a lotto ticket?
Thanks all,
Wayne, who earned one more stripe here than I did in the Army!

Re: Need A favor folks, Distributor
I found what I thought was great clue in an old picture on Goggle by Wes (Cuz) It is still a little unclear but my answer is around page 246 in TM9-1825B. Any help? or as I'm two laptops later I don't have either Wes's email or his Jeep site.
Thank you, Wayne

Thanks Carter, here is my issue. I gave my manual to the new owner of the truck. I guess that is what I get for being nice?Carter wrote:Not sure if this is what you need but when the oil pump and the distributor are set up according to the manual the rotor should point to the 7 o'clock position to fire #1 plug.

Need A favor folks, Distributor
My friends, I sold my M37 that I worked on for years, health of the wife and myself forced the sale. I gave a few extras to the buyer but started listing other parts on ebay. This is not a promotion by any means but a legit question on my one listed auction. I did a full rebuild on a distributor, bu...

Re: Time to sell M37 B1
Need to bump and reduce price, I still haven't tried the ebay thing as I rather see someone here get it. If I had to use ebay they would get 10% so I'll drop the price to my bottom line. 9,500.00 USD. No change in what you get. And if the truck is sold here I'll offer the rest of my spares up for sa...

Time to sell M37 B1
Folks I'm 68 and the wife has heart issues, I can't see using the truck anymore and even though I regret it I must sell it. Asking 9,500 USD 1967 M37 B1 ¾ Ton Dodge with winch Rust free and solid, on the road with current inspection. I spent about 5 years bringing a non-running rusty cab and bed bac...

Re: Most Practical Modification Thread
Practical in my opinion. Not the tie wrap
. Might save the next owner the price of an exhaust manifold. S.S. flex in the engine pipe.

Re: hemi engine in 37?
Sometimes you have to think out of the norm for exhaust. I built the below 20+ years ago. 302 Ford, C4 into a 142 Volvo. Look at how I handled the exhaust on this uni-body that had a steering box. Most folks put V8s into 242s as they had steering racks, I just wanted to see if I could do it. To the ...

Mirrors
My question is can the mirror be changed out in the original housing. The reason I ask is I have a broken one and have a convex one I would like to fit on the right side. If so how is it done?

Re: Is this nuts......or what?
Hope I don't see a trend starting. I collect old small "kicker" outboards. A running complete motor is not worth much, yet as most of what we have the parts are worth more. What guy's are doing are breaking down a restore-able outboard to make some $$$. I hope that the M37s doesn't go that...
Re: For Sale
The answer is yes, I still have all (except doors) . Sorry I've been AWOL again, the M is running great. At present I'm working on a 1942 WLA Harley that was a Russian lend lease bike my buddy got. All I can say is I'm shocked the Russians could keep their stuff running by what I have found so far.
